Hi! I'm Simon van Noort.
I'm currently writing my thesis in the Database Architectures research group at the CWI°. I'm pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit. I have prior degrees in software engineering and business administration.
Previously, I've worked as a software intern at Google° and Datadog°, and prior to that as a software engineer at crypto on-ramp aggregator Onramper°. My interests include databases, distributed systems, and automation.
In my spare time I work on software projects, like my JetBrains IDE plugin called Toggler°, and I enjoy reading, bouldering, and fitness.
